During the meeting, EHang briefed the attending Thai government leaders on its efforts in Thailand over the past few years in areas such as technology collaboration, product deployment, scenario development, and regulatory framework establishment. The Company also shared the significant achievements of the EH216-S pilotless human-carrying aircraft in type certification, commercial operations, low-altitude service ecosystem development, and global flight and industrial deployment. Since obtaining China’s first Air Operation Certificates (OC) for civil pilotless human-carrying aircraft, EHang General Aviation and Heyi Aviation have completed one year of continuous trial operations at EHang’s Future City headquarters in Guangzhou and at the Luogang Park site in Hefei , accumulating extensive experience in operational management, safety assurance, and passenger services. Both sites are expected to begin public ticketing and offer low-altitude sightseeing flight services in March 2026, entering a new phase of commercial operations. The Thai officials in attendance expressed strong recognition of thetrial operations in Guangzhou and Hefei and the remarkable achievements that have garnered global attention. Officials from Thailand’s Ministry of Transport and CAAT noted that EHang’s established experience in China will provide solid theoretical and practical support for eVTOL commercialization in Thailand, serving as an important reference for advancing relevant regulations and standards. They stated that the”EHang experience”will help Thailand rapidly establish an urban air mobility operational system tailored to local needs.
Thailand is one of EHang’s key strategic markets overseas. Since completing its first manned flight in Bangkok in November 2024, launching the AAM Sandbox Program with continuous trial operations in October 2025, and conducting manned flights within Bangkok under the AAM Sandbox in November of that same year, EHang has steadily advanced its footprint in Thailand and the broader Southeast Asian market. Air Chief Marshal Manat Chavanaprayoon, Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand, previously experienced a city flight aboard the EH216-S pilotless human-carrying aircraft, expressing strong recognition of EHang’s technical capabilities and the safety performance of the EH216-S.
